Stone ARX Opens North Texas Real Estate Operating System to Property Owners and the Real Estate Ecosystem

Texas-built company is connecting buyers, sellers, owners, investors, agents, brokers, title, capital, service providers and public-sector participants around one persistent property operating environment

ROCKWALL, Texas: October 23, 2026 — Stone ARX, a Texas-based real estate technology company, today announced the expansion of its real estate operating system across North Texas, opening a broader operating environment designed to connect the people, information, processes and services surrounding real property.

Stone ARX is beginning with residential real estate while building toward a much larger objective: creating a persistent operating environment around the property itself.

The company is inviting property owners, buyers, sellers, investors, agents, brokerages and industry partners across North Texas to participate. Stone ARX is also expanding relationships with title and escrow organizations, capital providers, service companies and public-sector organizations that participate in the ownership and transaction lifecycle.

The premise behind Stone ARX is straightforward.

The property should be the constant.

Today, the systems around it are not.

Consumers search for property in one system. Agents manage clients and listings in another. Brokers oversee production and compliance elsewhere. Documents move between inboxes, portals and shared drives. Title organizations maintain separate workflows. Lenders and capital providers operate through their own platforms. Public agencies maintain authoritative property and recorded-document information in yet another environment.

As ownership changes, many of those systems start over.

Stone ARX is building a different model.

Rather than creating another standalone real estate application, the company is developing an operating environment where property information, transaction activity, participants, permissions, documents and services can remain connected throughout the life of the property.

“Real estate does not have a technology shortage. It has a continuity problem,” said Harold Heard, Founder and CEO of Stone ARX. “The same property moves between buyers, sellers, agents, brokers, title companies, lenders, service providers and government records, but the information surrounding that property is repeatedly recreated, transferred and reconciled. We believe the property itself should be the constant, and the operating environment should follow it.”

From Real Estate Transaction to Property Lifecycle

Stone ARX currently provides role-based experiences for individuals, agents and brokerages, bringing traditionally separate activities into a connected environment.

For buyers, sellers, property owners and investors, Stone ARX provides guided experiences around property discovery, property preparation, financial considerations, transaction activity, documents and interaction with real estate professionals.

For agents, Stone ARX brings together lead and client intake, listing workflows, transactions, documents, task progression, partner coordination and ongoing production activities.

For brokers and brokerages, the operating environment provides visibility across organizational rosters, licensing, leads, listings, transactions, compliance, approvals, documents and brokerage activity.

Stone ARX is extending that same operating model beyond the traditional buyer, seller, agent and broker relationship.

The broader environment is being developed to support title and escrow organizations, giving transaction participants a more structured path for document, milestone and closing coordination.

It is also being designed for capital providers, including lenders and other financing organizations that need appropriate access to property, transaction and financial information without requiring every participant to operate from the same internal system.

Service providers can participate around the property and transaction based on their role, while Stone ARX's longer-term public-sector strategy is focused on connecting private real estate activity more effectively with authoritative government records.

“We are not trying to make every participant use the same software in exactly the same way,” Heard said. “A broker has different responsibilities than a buyer. A title company has different requirements than an agent. A lender should not see everything a property owner sees. Stone ARX is being built so each participant can work within the permissions and responsibilities of their role while staying connected to the same property and transaction.”

Search to Settle. List to Sold. Own to Operate.

Stone ARX describes its model through three connected journeys.

Search to Settle focuses on the buyer experience, beginning with property discovery and continuing through preparation, transaction execution and settlement.

List to Sold supports the seller, agent and brokerage journey from property preparation and listing through transaction execution and closing.

Own to Operate represents the larger Stone ARX direction. Instead of allowing the digital relationship with a property to disappear after closing, the property can remain active within the owner's operating environment.

Over time, that environment can support activities including ownership records, documents, maintenance, service history, financing, refinancing, insurance-related information, rental activity, investment analysis, improvements, future listings, transactions and other events affecting the property.

“The closing should not be the point where the technology relationship with the property ends,” Heard said. “Closing is simply another event in the life of the asset.”

Giving Property Owners a Larger Role in Their Own Data

A central part of the Stone ARX strategy is changing the relationship between property owners and the information associated with their real estate.

Property information is currently collected, copied, enriched, sold and redistributed throughout the real estate industry.

In many cases, the property owner has limited visibility into how that information moves or how economic value is created from it.

Stone ARX is building toward a model where owners can maintain a more complete property record, control appropriate access to their information and eventually participate in the economic value created through authorized use of that property data.

That does not mean replacing authoritative government records.

Stone ARX's public-sector strategy recognizes counties and other government entities as the official systems of record for information they are legally responsible for maintaining.

Instead, the goal is to establish a more effective connection between those authoritative records and the broader operating environment surrounding the property.

“A county record, a title record, a lender record and an owner's property information all serve different purposes,” Heard said. “The answer is not to pretend those responsibilities are the same. The opportunity is to connect them intelligently, preserve authority and permissions, and reduce how often the industry has to rediscover information it already knows.”

Beginning in North Texas

Stone ARX is concentrating its initial market development across North Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Rather than focusing only on increasing user registrations, Stone ARX is working to create density across the ecosystem.

That means bringing property owners, consumers, agents, brokerages, title organizations, capital providers, service companies and eventually public-sector participants into the same regional operating environment.

“North Texas is one of the best places in the country to prove this model because of the scale and diversity of the market,” Heard said. “The goal is not simply to sign up thousands of isolated users. The value increases when the people and organizations surrounding the same properties can participate together.”

Stone ARX is seeking brokerages and agents interested in becoming early participants, as well as title organizations, lenders, banks, private capital providers, real estate service companies and technology partners interested in connecting their capabilities to the broader environment.

The company is also pursuing conversations with county and local government organizations interested in exploring how authoritative public property information can participate in a modern digital property ecosystem while the government entity remains the official system of record.

The MLS Is Important, But It Is Not the Operating System

Stone ARX is also challenging an assumption that has shaped residential real estate technology for decades: that the multiple listing service must function as the center of the technology environment surrounding a property transaction.

Stone ARX sees the MLS as an important source of listing and market information, but only one component of a much larger property lifecycle.

“The MLS should be a data source, not your operating system,” Heard said. “Listings are essential, but a property existed before it was listed and it continues to exist after it is sold. The technology surrounding real estate should reflect that reality.”

Stone ARX is designed to allow data sources, transaction participants and service providers to contribute to the operating environment based on the role each plays.

A Services-Led Model, Not Another Collection of Software Subscriptions

Stone ARX is also approaching the market differently from traditional software-as-a-service products.

The company's objective is not simply to provide customers with another application and another login.

Stone ARX is building a services-led operating model where technology coordinates activities that may involve licensed professionals, regulated organizations, third-party providers and public institutions.

That distinction becomes increasingly important as the platform expands into title, capital, property services, brokerage operations and other parts of the real estate lifecycle.

“The customer should not have to understand which database, integration or provider is responsible for every step,” Heard said. “They should understand what needs to happen next, who is responsible and whether it has been completed. The technology should help coordinate the complexity behind that experience.”

Building With the Industry

Stone ARX is inviting North Texas organizations to participate in the development of the operating environment rather than waiting until every capability is complete.

The company is particularly interested in working with:

  • Property owners, buyers, sellers and investors

  • Residential real estate agents

  • Independent and multi-office brokerages

  • Title and escrow organizations

  • Mortgage lenders and banks

  • Private and institutional capital providers

  • Property and transaction service companies

  • County and local government organizations

  • Real estate technology and data providers

  • Strategic and investment partners

Commercial real estate is also part of the broader Stone ARX direction. Commercial property concepts and capabilities are represented within the platform today, while broader end-to-end commercial workflows continue to be developed.

Future platform expansion will also extend more deeply into the ongoing operation and management of real property.

“We want the people who actually buy, sell, own, finance, insure, transfer, service, operate and record real property involved in building what comes next,” Heard said. “Stone ARX is not being built around one participant. It is being built around the property.”
